I had to move from Upper side to East side and the guys did a great job! I was worried about packing but they did everything professional and nothing was… read more damaged! Highly recommended company
I try to support small businesses as much as possible; however, I can understand why most times people choose not to. This was the second time we used this… read more company for moving services. The first time went well – no major issues. The second time was a disaster. For context, we requested three movers for a move out of a 2 bedroom into a 3 bedroom house. I provided the owner with all details required for the move including major appliances. To make a long story short, after a long day of moving, I took a look at my dining table and noticed something off. The metal table leg was bent. How? I had an idea but had to determine if my thought was even possible. How could movers manage to bend a metal table leg? I know how – by not taking the time to disassemble it like they did they first time we hired them. They failed to disassemble a very expensive dining table, and must’ve shoved items in between the legs, as well as on top of the dining table. To make matters worse, I noticed damage to my almost new (less than a year old) washer and dryer. Although I was exhausted and now extremely upset, I calmed myself down and realized it’s no big deal and I’ll reach out to the owner to let him know about the damage. The conversation didn’t go as planned. The owner became very defensive and said “it’s moving, it happens.” I responded saying yes, I would’ve expected damage like this if we moved everything ourselves, but I hired professional movers instead to ensure there would be no damage to my furniture, appliances or walls. After going back and forth with the owner, he forced his workers to give me a call, and wanted them to pay for the damage. I refused to speak to them, or accept their offer to pay for the table leg. I called the owner back and said he must be held accountable, and I refuse to accept anything from the people who work for him. He finally agreed to replace the table leg at his own expense; however, he completely ignored the damage to my washer and dryer. I was so upset I didn’t bother to follow up with him, as it wasn’t worth going back and forth like we did about my table leg. Fast forward to approximately a week later, I discovered more damage to my tv stand. I couldn’t believe how “professional movers” caused so much damage. I can ensure I’ll never use this company again. I’ll also be weary of trusting customer service from other small businesses, as had this been a larger company, they probably would’ve rectified this immediately for all damage caused, and not only focusing on a minuscule amount to replace the least expensive piece. I held back on writing this review but decided to make others aware of what to expect in the event you use this company.
